This morning I woke up really, really early and for the life of me, I couldn't go back to sleep. So, like the good lil' reader I am, I checked my phone. Damn. No updates. Oh, but there was a teaser from Beegurl13 for Constant Bearing, Decreasing Range, and that is just as good as an update.Why?
Because the chapter before ended on a major cliffie and I'm still dying over here!
So, in the mean time, I decided listen to the song Brandy by Looking Glass and get myself mentally prepared for that next update. It's always been one of my favorite songs and my heart melted when this fic inspired by it came into my inbox. And while watching the YouTube video for this song, the image of a woman looking out over the ocean came up, and just like that, I was inspired to make something again. At 3 am on a Wednesday. Go figure!
But how could I not be inspired. This story is amazing!
Bella comes into town to work at a bar and take care of her father. Edward is a Fisherman who is only around 4 months out of the year. Their relationship starts slow, even if their physical relationship is moving at rocket speed. It's an honest love story, and even though it breaks your heart at times, you'll really love these two together.
Two and a half weeks go by and finally, Edward's sailing into Clallam Bay. I'm excited, and I watch out my window all day until finally I see his boat. Throwing on my shoes, I run for the harbor. It's only a couple of blocks, but I'm out of breath by the time I get there. I hurry to his regular spot and arrive just as he's tying off the boat and shutting down the engine.
"There she is!" Paul yells when he sees me. He's smiling and laughing, and soon I see Edward peeking out of the main cabin.
"Hey!" he yells, walking toward me. He's not fast enough, and I run to the boat, pausing only long enough for Jared to put the walkway down, then I'm over it and onto the deck of the boat. My arms wrap around Edward's neck and I'm kissing him for all he's worth. The other guys start to whistle and cat call, but I don't care. He's here, and he's in my arms, and I'm not letting him out of my sight.
Oh, and you know me, I love me some love scenes. And this story has some good, kinky ones! Not surprised, this author is known for her seriously sexy lemons.
